New York is big. New York is crowded. New York is colorful.
When the weather is good, the enormous crowds walking along Manhattan streets are mostly tourists.
Everyone – New Yorkers busily walking the streets and tourists absorbed in taking pictures – is naturally harmonized in the middle of New York City.
This is the charm of New York.
One of the most advanced cities in the world, New York, a symbol of capitalism, is a place where everything quickly moves and new things are tried out. But at the same time, the old dignity coexists in New York.
The biggest reason I love New York is this: I feel like I’m in mother’s bosom that embraces and accepts diverseness.
It has the power to make everything – even things in contrast – merge and coexist.
If you want to feel a similar free atmosphere, go away from Manhattan to Brooklyn.
The abandoned industrial district embraces poor artists and new creations begin there.
Williamsburg in Brooklyn might look quiet at a glance but something fun always happens around there. If you are lucky, you meet a crowd of people. If you follow them, you are given an opportunity to enjoy Sonic Youth’s performances, too. This is New York.
I love you, New York!
It naturally takes diversity with a broad mind and knows to embrace everything:
New York is open to everyone like mom’s heart.
I love you, New York!
