Sometimes, we get overwhelmed by fancy recipes asking for too many ingredients that we haven’t even heard of. The recipes look delicious but it’s not always easy to get all the ingredients as the recipe directs. Plus, they provide such elaborate steps that there is a higher tendency of getting lost.

Now, Gorgonzola pizza couldn’t be any easier. With leftover tortillas, garlic cloves and cheese, anyone can easily make and enjoy this savory gorgonzola pizza. So here is the recipe that EVERYONE, I mean EVERYONE can follow (because if I could make one, then you, too, can for sure!) All you need are simple ingredients, a frying pan and the oven. In total, the entire process takes about 20 minutes including prep time. So let’s walk in to the kitchen and have some fun! J

(Makes 2 Pizzas)

Two 12″ Tortilla sheets, 10 garlic cloves, 3 handfuls (150g) of Mozzarella cheese, 3Tbs (50g) Gorgonzola Cheese (crumbled), 2 Tbs of Mayo or Cream Cheese, honey. Optional: peas or pomegranates

  1. Slightly cook tortillas on low heat on the pan on a stove until lightly-crispy.
  2. Slice garlic cloves as pictured above and lightly fry in the pan on high heat (make sure garlic is not over cooked and frying pan should be slanted so that they are fried with less oil)
  3. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  4. Spread 1 Tbs of Mayo or cream cheese, 1-2 handful of Mozarella cheese and 1 ½ Tbs of crumbled Gorgonzola on top of EACH Tortilla.

  5. Bake in an oven for 5-10 minutes at 350° F.
  6. Take the pizza from the oven and place garlic cloves and drizzle honey evenly on top.
  7.  Decorate with pomegranate seeds or peas.
  8. Serve with red wine, but actually any drink will go great with this pizza.Making Gorgonzola Pizza Couldn't Be Easier! - Wisdom's Webzine
