This is a quote by Thomas Carlyle: “The block of granite which was an obstacle in the pathway of the weak becomes a stepping-stone in the pathway of the strong.”
While living in the world we encounter many of these life stones. Each time, the result seems to change according to the attitude towards the stone.
If one says that the stone is a stumbling block while another says that it is a stepping stone, the attitude of the mind is really quite different.
The difference is whether a person who sees disabilities in life sees it with complaint and resentment or the person uses it as a springboard for recovery and leaps forward.
That’s right.
I’m saying something so obvious now; The most important thing is not the stones in our way but the attitude of our hearts in how we deal with it.
It’s not that I don’t live like that because I don’t know about it;
But because I get busy with this and that, I might
forget about it, so I’m thinking back to try to remember the obvious today.
I hope that these words will seep into my bones and give me great strength now.
So I hope for you, in the future, you can say that there were so many good stepping stones in your life that helped you get to your present.
