Ginger cinnamon tea

This tea can be served hot or cold.

Ginger Cinnamon Tea

Servings: 12 persons

1 gallon filtered water

7 cinnamon sticks

4 cups fresh ginger, peeled, roughly sliced

7-8 dried dates

1 ½  cups honey

Directions:

  1. In a pot bring water, cinnamon sticks, ginger, and dried dates to a boil.
  2. Simmer for about 30 minutes
  3. Remove from heat, strain and discard the solids Stir in the honey to dissolve.
  4. Serve hot or cold.
